School as a referent

It is located in Sant Joan Despí on the border of Sant Feliu de Llobregat. Being part of a complex legal framework where it wants to impose a new Master Plan which does not fit with the character of the place. The new Master Plan target it will propose as a connection with different cities, revaluates the importance of the pedestrian and elevates the importance of the vegetation, and at the same time, it generates will a new city center. These new city center it is involved by a new equipment in it square.

The equipment it was chosen to solve this new node and it is the equipment has been used by Waldorf pedagogy as its main supporter. The school moves away from the standards and eliminates completely the hallway and articulates by several buildings which gives an equal importance to the emptiness and to the fullness. The structure of these modules are made with wood and are projected with different facades depending on the solar situation. Thus, a second skin it is projected serving as a greenhouse and a sunscreen.

The materials have been used permits to feel the students with a confidence space and take apart from the hostility as well as giving them to be more imaginative as a design reference. This is an ecological school, not only for the materials and facilities, as well as aim to be a meeting references, festival and neighborhood activities.
