"Espai Sakura" it’s been created for get to the users connected with the nature. Also, it’s inspired by the Japanese festival called Hanami.

The cherry blossom or Sakura flowers appears for welcoming the spring. This flowers creates a particular landscape covered with their pink leaves. 

During the Hanami celebration, family and friend spend time under the cherry blossoms to celebrate the new and the most colorful season, spring. ​This project has been created for give to the first floor at Elisava University a functional, biophilic, flexible and inspiring area.

"Espai Sakura" is a self-contained space that invoke to the cherry blossom feelings. These flower has a five petals around the ovum as a point of connections. The petals flies away from the ovum and makes a chain between them. A magical and mysterious moments appears when the petals are illuminated by a pleasant sunlight which are sifted through the natural rope which covers them.

These space it’s been represented through different Interface carpet models as the wind-blown petals when their cover the garden, creating a seductive pink, brown and grey carpet. As well, this it’s designed for a meetings and relaxation however, invited you to rise your emotions.

Like a flower, "Espai Sakura" hopes to breed you of ideas to becoming the fruit of creativity.
